Thunderhead COVID-19 Update

The global outbreak is impacting everyone. We wanted to provide a brief status update of operations at Thunderhead Engineering and how it will impact our customers

One of our corporate values at Thunderhead is flexibility for our workforce. As such, we have had remote employees for several years, and many of our staff frequently work from home as needed. At this time, even though our local jurisdiction has not mandated closing of workplaces, we have chosen to use our capability to be a fully-remote workforce for the coming weeks.

All of our staff are working from home and minimizing their connections within the community to assist in slowing the spread of infection. Everyone is working normal hours, and there is currently no disruption in any of our business activities. Software sales continue through our website, email, or phone, and all support requests will be handled normally. Development of new software features and bug fixes is also continuing at a normal scale.

We would also like to remind our customers that we have flexible licensing, and encourage you to contact our support staff if you need assistance supporting remote work in your business. We can provide temporary license transfers to home offices and provide guidance for accessing centralized floating licenses remotely. We will do everything possible to ensure that your staff can access your software licenses while working from home and limiting the spread of virus.

Sincerely,
Brian Hardeman
President
