The Welcome Pavilion is the main entrance to a 300,000 sq m retail mall in Abu Dhabi.

Mott MacDonald provided fire modeling services for the development. The purpose of the study was to trial proposed smoke extract designs - the aim being to keep smoke above head height indefinitely, giving occupants ample time for escape.
